At our Stated Experience in August, we welcomed the following Brothers to Minnehaha Lodge! Please join in extending a welcome to: Alex Mehlhaff, Chuck Brust, David Cole, Dennis Kaarup, Don Laurila, Doug Costar, Joseph Relhak, Kurt Swendson, Mark Leesch, Marv Lovro, Matt Leiss, Nicholas Clausen, Roger Hansen, Norman Dittman, Stanley Jarovski, Steven Perkins, Tycho Clausen.

At the August Meeting updated by-laws were proposed. This task started as a means to update our current by-laws. Our current by-laws are broken up into two documents currently and we need to combine those into one document. This also served as an opportunity to correct grammar, section headings, and make the document searchable and enhance formatting. The by-laws were carefully crafted, reviewed by a few Brothers for other sets of eyes, and were presented as a whole at our August Stated Meeting. Below are the documents presented. The by-laws were crafted as one document. They will be voted on as such
1. Core By-Laws. Re-formatting, enhanced, adding lodge seal, adding lodge logo
2. Two Options for Dues Increase:
  1. Increase to $130 per year ($10.83/month)
  2. Increase to $150 per year ($12.50/month) with a 5% increase each year
3. Going from one Stated Meeting per month to two Stated Meetings per month
4. Adding the Longevity level for Dues for those members that qualify.
The spirit of the votes will be to solidify our by-laws at the September Meeting and produce a clean set.

Lodge Name Tags. So everyone has the chance to know those in attendance Minnehaha Lodge has name tags for everyone. If you do not have a name tag in with the others please let the Secretary know and we will get one coming for you. The lodge is excited to provide this for all Members
