2026Masonic Center Town HallEvent Details: Masonic Center Town Hall
To all members of the Sioux Falls Masonic Center, you are invited to attend a Town Hall meeting concerning the future of our building.
Date: Tuesday, August 18
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Masonic Lodge, Large Lodge Room
The Masonic Board Association has recently received interest regarding the possible purchase of the Masonic Center. Although no sale has been approved, this interest highlights the need for our Masonic community to establish a clear and orderly process for evaluating any current or future offers.
During the Town Hall, we will:
Provide an update on the current status of the Masonic Center and recent developments.
Discuss how information regarding potential offers should be reviewed and communicated.
Consider a fair and efficient process for making any future decision regarding a possible sale of the building.
Discuss how the member bodies of the Masonic Board Association should be represented in that decision-making process.
Begin developing a transition and moving plan in the event that a sale is ultimately approved.
Address questions and gather input from Masons and Masonic appendant bodies that use and support the facility.
No final decision regarding the sale of the Masonic Center will be made without an appropriate process and meaningful participation from the Masonic community. The purpose of this meeting is to ensure that everyone is informed, that concerns are heard, and that a responsible plan is established before any further action is taken.
The participation of all Masons and Masonic appendant bodies is strongly encouraged. Please join us as we discuss these important matters and work together to determine the best path forward for our Masonic community.
